Sutter Health will deploy Hyro's conversational AI platform across the California health system to automate routine patient interactions through chat, voice and SMS.

Dr. Priyanka Agarwal, HealthEx CEO and cofounder, says the company's data management platform enables patients to view their full medical histories through TEFCA-supported Individual Access Services (IAS) requests.

The company will use the funds to expand nationally, enhance its technology platform and advance clinical innovation.

Dr. Matthew Thompson, Telescope Health cofounder and CEO, says delivering virtual preventive care can reduce ER visits and hospital readmissions, save taxpayers money and improve community health outcomes.

The funds will be used to expand its direct-to-consumer services and grow partnerships with payers and health systems.

The deal marks Innovaccer's fourth acquisition in the past two years.

While smaller hospitals and FQHCs often lack the infrastructure to deploy AI, Duke's Dr. Mark Sendak says the Health AI Partnership is working to help them access AI tools that can drive efficiency and reduce administrative burden.

The round follows a $200 million seed raise earlier this year.

The feature uses machine learning and heart sensor data to flag signs of hypertension and will roll out to Watch Series 9, 10 and 11 as well as Ultra 2 and 3 by month’s end.
